Default Low light successor to F30??

I have had a Fuji F30 since it was released and for a while this had the rep as the best low-light compact camera. However it needs replacing and I wondered which of the current range (any make) would replicate or improve on its low light performance, while still having full manual control. Ideally I'd like a wider lens range as well. I use it a lot for casual concert photography where it is forbidden/difficult to use bigger bridge or slr types, but would also enjoy having 28mm wide angle (or better) if possible.
Anything better in the last 4 years or so? Any thoughs appreciated

You might take a look at the Canon S-90, and to a lesser degree, as it has more automation, the SD-4000.
