my first digital camera
hello, my name is adi from israel (i new in this forums) i'm about to buy my first digital camera!!:? i want a small digital camera like casio exllim zx-260 or olympus mju700 slim and beautiful... prinarily, i like to take pictures of my friends, family and views, i love nature!!:-) i am on a budget of around 350-400 dollars. i know that i want about 5.0 megapixels and about 10x optical zoom. please help me to decide have a nice day adi st:homey: |

i dont know if is the same but dont buy the casio Z60 i returned mine the pics are very bad, poor and grainy.

Currently the only 10X "super-zoom" with a slim body (like the Casio Exilim series) is the Kodak V610.
You said you "love nature" so I presume you may want to take wildlife picture and need a long zoom (instead of a wide angle lens). The V610 has two lens with a combined focal length of 38 - 380 mm. The lenses are internal so there are no extending parts. The camera is a little wide but very slim. The picture quality is, however, average. http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/kodak/v610-review/ |
