Hi guys..

I am planning to get a DSLR, I was think of getting the canon rebel XT or Nixon D50.

I have had canon cameras before I like them…

I will mainly using this camera to take pics of family and friends… and most importantly my fish tank.. This requires a lot of macro shooting..

So which camera will be better for me and do I need to buy a special lenes or what.

Another question.. The Canon does have pics display like the point and shoot cameras have (I.E looking at the subject from the LCD rather then the view finder)


Does the Nixon have this functionality? Or does any other DSLR which is worth buying have this kind for functionality.

Both are very Nice DSLR, as it is said you can't view through LCD while shooting the picture as you can do it in Point and shoot cameras.

You will need macro lenses if you really want to go very close-up to the fishes. XT and D50 both are nice, so it comes down to your personal choice. Personally I own D50 and I love it as D50 results invery low noise at higher ISO speeds than any other DSLR in the market right now.
