Thank you so very much for taking the time to help me. I really, really appreciate it. I feel so lost!!! I will see if Best Buy can pre-order the S3 IS and keep my fingers crossed that they will let me return the flash. Speaking of that ... how else could I reduce red-eye if not an external flash?

And, what are the stats of the S3 IS? Megapixel? Zoom? etc??? Best Buy has the S2 IS which is 5 megapixel. Is the S3 about the same?

I wish I could take you with me to the store since you know what you are talking about!!!! I'm afraid they are going to give me a hard time with this. Maybe not.

I'm in the market for the S2 myself. If you go to Canon's website you can click on both models and see a side by side comparison of the two and you can decide then if it's worth the wait and the extra money for an S3.

Just an FYI, Circuit City has the S2 on sale right now as a web only special!! I'm thinking that's where I'm going this weekend! LOL!!
