hello fellow digicam lovers,
At the moment i have a kodak dx6490 and a fuji s5200. I feel i am ready to switch to a dslr and i am pumped! I want your inputs. I would like to go to nikon for i have held them and like theway they feel in my hands. I have a budget offabout $2500 and would like some advice. All input is appreciated. By the way i am taking pictures of my brothers basketball games in low lighting. Thanks in advance! -Logan |

It arrived today. Naturally I was elated and I began charging the battery immediately. Here ismy second image with the new D-50.The D-50 handles very well, unlike the Canon 350D/XT, whose grip seemed really pinched to me. I had the opportunity to use an Olympus E-500 for a full 14 days it did not feel as good in hand, as the Nikon D-50,nor was I able to produce colors like thosethat appear in this image. Your $2500 budget should allow for a wider choice of Nikon dSLR as well as lenses. MT ![]() |

My camera is a Nikon Refurbished camera, and both Beach Camera and BuDig have them at $399. i have dealt with both retailers a number of times with absolute success, and you can even make returns.
