Nikon D50 or Canon 350D/Rebel XT?

Ken Rockwell provides some useful info, but be careful about taking everything he says seriously. He has no issue reviewing or commenting on lenses that he hasn't ever used, and if you go through his entire site, he sometimes contradicts himself. He can be fun to read, but he is sometimes full of hot air. He is also not shy about asking for donations (the request is in every article he writes) which I find a bit annoying.
