Default Nikon D7100 or Sigma 1.8 18-35 lens

I am using Nikon D90 with 50mm1.8 and 18-55 lens. Recently I was thinking to buy a Sigma 18-35 1.8 Lens. But Then I realize Nikon D90 is getting old. What would be the best invest for now. Should I invest on Sigma lens or upgrade my Camera to Nikon D7100.
Honest Suggestion is highly appriciated

Money is always better spent on glass.
  • The lens is the thing.
  • 'Full Frame' is the new 'Medium Format'.

The D90 is not really an "old" model... unless yours has a galactic shutter count..!
If you're happy with the D90's results/performance, I'd go with the lens- and assuming Nikon don't change their lens mount (which is highly unlikely) it will be good for any future Nikon body...
