hi guys, I have finally decided that I am financially able to go digital.....I can afford one of these (nothing more, unfortunately)....which kit is the best buy? :
Nikon d50kit comes with Nikon 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 G ED AF-S DX Zoom and Nikon 55-200mm f4-5.6G ed AF-S DX Lenses. OR Canon EOS 350D Digital Camera with Black Double Lens Kit - EF-S 18-55mm Lens, EF 55 - 200mm Lens. Canon-offer costs (only) 12% more than the Nikon. Also, are the lenses OK-ish? |

Curious if this got no replies because it is the 7000th post of its kind. Believe me, I jumped into read to get answers but believe this topic has been played OUT!
Do some research and you'll see. It's been covered over and over and over. Don't mean this as a rip. I'm in the same debate. You may just want to dig. Won't be hard to find hundreds of the exact same post. |

lpatterson-
Both the Canon 350D/XT and the Nikon D-50 are excellent DSLR cameras and each has it own legion of supporters. It all comes down to a matter of personal preference. My husband likes the Canon 350D/XT a lot, I thijnk the grip is too pinched. I would suggest that you actually physically handle each camera and make a decision. There has in the past been a huge amount of past discussion on these two cameras on this forium. MT |
