HI,
I am looking for a Telezoom camera and wide angle 28mm. Both camera fits with this requirements, but in which one do you recomended me? Now I have a Pan FZ30, with a good zoom but no 28mm JAvier |

I think the general consensus between those two is that the Fuji will produce sharper images but on the other hand it doesn't have the telephoto reach of the 550.

I had the S9100 and think it's a good camera. However, if you have the FZ30 and like it, you may want to wait a month or two and buy the FZ18.

Why don't you just purchase the DMW-LW55 wide converter for your FZ30 and go even wider...down to 24mm? I use one with my FZ50 and it works very well..

if you can wait maybe can consider Fuji S8000fd, lens 27mm to 486mm

I have some doubts that any 15x-18x superzoom will equal the IQ of the current crop of 10x-12x camera. The Sony H7/H9 and the Olympus SP550 cameras don't.
