Panasonic LUMIX DMC GF3 vs Nikon COOLPIX (L320)
-
I have a friend that has offered to sell me one of his old cameras. He is offering both for the same price. Which one is better. I have no knowledge about cameras, any recommendations are appreciated.

What is the price? A used L320 goes for about $100 US and that would be a bargain for the GF3 if it had the original 14mm f/2.5 pancake lens that cam as a kit. They were selling for about $300 new when they were late in the production run.
Even with a 14-42 lens, the GF3 would be worth the hundred dollars.

The GF3 offers higher image quality and manual control (if desired)- but you're potentially limited depending on the lens supplied with it...
The L320 is essentially a "point and shoot" with a big zoom range- and if simplicity and versatility is what you're after (whilst not being too critical of IQ)- could be the ticket...
