Any opinions on the Pentax Optio W 90 ? Looks pretty rugged, wonder about the picture taking qualities...would it approach the Canon G series ?

I hadn't seen it before, not sure how I missed it, but again thanks. Boy were they enthusiastic about that little Pentax. They took videos and pictures of aquarium fish and Trout in what looks like the cold, Bow River, in Alberta. He dropped it on the floor, took macro pictures with the close up light....he recommended it. I need to see pictures from both the G series and the W 90. I know both won't compare with my DSLR's...but I looked at the specs...looks like the Pentax has the same size sensor, or perhaps a bit larger then the G series. I know it's also lens quality and I would think the Canon G series at a lot more bucks, would have a superior lens. Anyways...pros and cons...decisions..decisions....eh. ![]() |
