Hi!
I have a question about all of the DSLR cameras available at the moment. Currently I use an Olympus C-5060 with the swival monitor feature mainly because being disabled, one of my problems is motoring strength when I try to hold a camera up to my eye for an extended period of time (such as to focus). The C-5060 allows me to shoot looking down to my lap area, and while it takes a pretty nice picture, I really would like to graduate to a pro DSLR camera that I can actually have a choice of lenses. Are there any cameras on the market presently that would allow me this luxury? (swival monitor) Thanks for any help. GL |

DSLR's are different from point and shoot cameras. Because of the mirror being in the way, and larger sensor/heat issues, no current dslr's even let you compose the image via the lcd. The lcd is used only for menu navigation and image review only.

GL-
You might want to take a look at the Sony R-1. It has a waist level LCD Viewfinder that could possibly work well for you. I think it is worth a look. MT |
