Hi, I'm about to buy my first digital camera. I've looking these cameras: Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W70, Canon Powershot A540, Canon Powershot A620, Nikon Coolpix L1, Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01.
The most importants features for meare image quality indoorsand outdoors and that shows natural colors (not oversaturated or infrasaturated). It should have good automatic controls and some manual controls (manual controls are not a must). I don´t care about movie features.
I can´t try these cameras because I will buy it in a online shop. I have read some reviews but I can´t take a decision :?. Please help me.
Thanks.

If image stabilization is a must requirement, then the Canon A-540 and A-620, which are good cameras have to be eliminated. If you want a wide angle lens, the Panasonic FX01 has a 28mm wide angle. If you want long zoom and image stabilization then, look at the Panasonic TZ-1 or the Kodak Z-612, both sell for about $(US) 325.

MT,
Thnaks for your answer.
The most importants features for meare image quality indoorsand outdoors and that shows natural colors (not oversaturated or infrasaturated). So if the models I' ve been looking have similar image quality I will considerer other features as zoom, image stabilization, etc.

One last suggestion. Take a look at the S-600. NO IS, but it does have a wide angle, high ISO settings and an optical viewfinder, plus a very inexpensive price and good reviews.

Dont touch the sony cybershot it has very very poor picture quality in all areas ,worst digicam I have ever had couldnt wait to get rid of it
Total waste of money
Nikon L1 does great pictures but very blurry, so i will get the sony w70
style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"and the kodak c875 its even nicer 8 mp and IS great sharp pics.
