i bought the fx01 a couple of weeks ago and i'm thinking of returning it...

while it looks nice and takes decent pictures, the pictures are a bit disappointing... i still have a canon s500 and it takes better pictures than the fx01...

should i just return the fx01 and get the sd600/sd630?

i'm also considering, in no particular order, the fuji v10, samsung i6, kodak v570/v610...

some thoughts...

- fast shutter speed

- 5 or 6 megapixel

- 2.5 or 3.0 inch screen

- sd card (altho not that big a deal, hence v10 or others)

- image stabilization (also not that big a deal)

- must be compact (the fx01 is 1" thick, while the canons are about .85" - big difference imho)

- movie mode (fx01 has widescreen movie mode 848x480 30fps, sd600/630 has 640x480 30fps and 320x24060fps - 60fps would be nice to have when trying to analyze something in slo-mo)

- i6 is an interesting option with the mp3 and video capability... altho samsung pics probably not that good...

- v10 appears an option... i remember my original 2.4mp fuji took great pics...

- kodak v610 has a 10x optical zoom, but it's a bit bigger than the others...

- avi or mpeg would be preferrable over mov...

any insight would be appreciated...
