Hey everyone, What camera should I buy? A Digital SLR would be nice, but i don't really have the budget to dish out money for lenses and such. I want a camera with preferably 8 + mega-pixels, but not essential.Again a a d-SLR would be good, butI will settle for a good point-and-shoot. I will probably taking pics of outdoors, family, and may tryout some macros. Ihave been using a Kodak C613 Zoom (6.1M).

My budget isroughly $350 ( some left over would be nice too).

I'm sorry if i haven't specified, so ask becauseI'll be here for a while.

I think you should take a good look at Steve's Best Cameras list.

TCav has given you some very good advice-

There is no pressing need to jump to a DSLR. There are still some really excellent digicams out there that will cost you a LOT LESS than a DSLR.
