Can someone who has owned a Rebel and upgraded to the 20 D please explain what they cand do with the 20D that they were not able to do with the Rebel?

I'm one of those folks. For me at least, the Canon 350D/XT had a very poor grip, a tunnel like viewfinder, and it was limited to a max ISO of 1600. By going to the 20D I solved each of those problems nicely, and got a better burst mode as well.

I upgraded from the Rebel to the 20D and here were the improvements for me:

1. Instant on
2. Faster burst mode
3. Better noise handling at higher ISO
4. larger buffer
5. Better feel in your hand
