hi there... want some advice
BTW I am in england, so I think my IXUS 55 is a SD450. Anyway, this camera got smashed in the screen so is no more. I loved it, and am looking for a replacement. I could get. IXUS 55 (again) - £178 IXUS 60 (seems same but 6MP) - £182 OLYMPUS MJU 700 (710 in USA??) - £160 The canons seem pretty similar to me, any reason not go go for the Ixus 60 for £4 extra. I have heard great things about the Olympus, but also that the miniXD is ropey. Bottom line, which ultracompact will take the best photos for £200?? Thanks |

You'll be happier with the sd600 rather than the 710. The olympus cameras this season seem to not be as sharp as previous years. Now, I do like the fact that it is water resistant. The only knock on the canon elphs is that they are almost too small. I've had at least 3 people come in and tell me they dropped their camera while taking pics. The wrist strap is a necessity.
