Replacing my Power Shot A95
A little background. Back when I was working I used Nikon 35mm flim cameras with a 28mm lens. I shot a roll of film a day. Those cameras took the best pictures of any camera that I have owned. The 28mm lens was perfect for taking snap shots of anything. I had several other lenses for it that I rarely used. My son has those cameras now. After retiring and reading the reviews on this site I bought an Olympus cool pix. Still have it but it doesn't work anymore. I really liked that camera. Next came a Canon Power Shot A95. Again purchased after reading the reviews on this site. Originally purchased for my daughter along with a small photo printer to use in her classroom. I have been using it for a while. It is an ok camera. I get lots of blurred images. Don't know why. Otherwise it takes decent pictures.
I would really like to get something that rivals my old Nikon's ease of use and quality of pictures. Probably not possible on a retiree's limited budget.
Suggestions please
