I would like to retire my Nikon D50 for the semi pro one. After doing someresearch, Itcomes down to S3 pro and D200.
I like Fuji's color, but the S3 is 2 years old tech already and slow. D200 has rough body and newer tech. however, some people said The color can't beat S3 pro, Which one is better? Thanks |

These cameras are out of my price range, but from what I have read, the S3 is a good camera for a wedding photographer. Sports photographers and people who have to take a lot of pictures fast would do better with the D200.
I heard that Fuji was offering a buffer upgrade some months back which would increase the speed and depth of its burst mode. |

Looks like you already know the difference - the S3 pro has a very nice sensor with better color and dynamic range, but the D200 handles much nicer and is faster. It comes down to what do you want to shoot? Here is a detailed spec comparison:

Weddings and portraits only... the s3 pro. All else D200.
