Below is a link to a nice comparison tool for sample images from various cameras. I've been spending days with many images from various cameras in this site.

Maybe this helps you find your favourite one. From my side, i think that images from Canon are the ones which seem best to my eyes.

That is a cool site. I only wish he had more interesting photos. Maybe some nature or landscape shots. The photos of posters and stuff don't realy do it for me.
