Hi,

I am getting a KM 5D . I also want to get a carry on second camera for day to day fun, where i cant carry the KM 5D kit everywhere i go.



Please suggest a camera that will do decent enough. I first thought of getting a G6 and then a canon S1. But i need some one who owns a DSLR and a carry on one..

you want something smaller than the g6 or the s1..

might i suggest the s70... all the manual controls you want.. wide 28mm lens.. RAW capabilities so you can use same workflow.. same 7.1mp sensor as g6..

i use oneof its predecessors, the s50, as my carry-all when i don't want to take my 20d and just love it.. they are superbly built all metal cameras with a very robust sliding lens cover.. can't go wrong with it in my opinion..
