I see the Panasonic FZ-5 and The futur Canon S2is have both 1/2.5 sensors as for example the Sony V3 & Fuji E-550 have both 1/1.7 sensors.....the compact W5 from Sony has a 1/1.8 sensor.

So my question asked is will there be a great difference between these cameras ?

I suppose the lens plays also a great part in image quality.....what i`m looking for is a good complete not too big low light indoor and night pics capable camera.

The KM Z3 is now selling at a good price..it`s a complete camera but i think it has too much noise.

Any suggestions ?

Sensor size is important because a large sensor with less pixels has less grain.
