Which camera(s) have the shortest delay when taking a photo? Which digital, in the $400.00 price range, is best for action photography? Thanks!

Photo wise the F10/F11 is the best compact for action in limited available light because of the high ISO capabilities. Zoomed out it is hard to acquire and follow moving targets because it has no optical viewfinder.
Imaging Resource has a page like this for all of the cameras they review. Narrow down your choices and look there for speeds. The reviews at dpreview also have a good speed page but they don't review as many small cameras. http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/Z750/Z750DATA.HTM |
