Hey there. Of the 5mp cameras, what's the best shutter lag wise? How would the Canon A610 compare? What would be better and the best?
Thanks! Also. what would make one choose a 6-7mp camera over 5mp camera? And, is there a 5mp camera that's terrific in the shutter lag dept. as well as the time it takes to go from pic to pic? |

Here are the times for the A610. Cycle times are excellent except for flash. Full autofocus shutter lag is probably about average anymore for that level of camera. Casios have been quick and the Z110 is in about the same price category. It is probably faster at shutter lag but likely not faster at cycle times. You might wait for some full reviews. http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/A610/A610DATA.HTM
Your criteria seems to be any camera from a large stabilized 12X zoom with full manual controls to a tiny point and shoot with no viewfinder – as long as it has the fastest shutter lag. I doubt you would see any difference between 5 and 7Mp. |

Thanks!!!
Why would someone choose 7mp over 5mp? Normally we do 4X6 pic, but sometimes they're cropped. And lastly, do you know how the coolpix 5600 measures up? |
