Hey there,
THanks for reading my post. Im looking for a Camera that is below £200, slim and runs off AA's. I need AA'sasi travel a lot and cant always gurantee a power socket near by!At the moment i have a very old PowerShot a40, which is bulkyand cantfit in a giants pocket! So im looking for a camera i can justslide into my pocket with ease, that runs off AA's and is also a very good camera. I am in the UK also i dontknow if the models are the same in the UK andUS. Thanks for yourtime Charlie |

Now that's very hard requirement.
Double-As always cause thickness requirements and all compacts normally use Li-Ions, A40's size is generally about smallest that double-A cameras have had. Only few newer compact cameras use AAs and those seem to be such models that there aren't much reviews from those. http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/cameraList.php |

maybe you should consider a subcompact with very long battery life, like the casio EXILIM EX-S500.
