Hi, could you tell me more about this camera, it looks good but its a little expencive (around 500 euro in my country), and i realy dont need the 12x optical, but steady shot, flash up to 5-6 meters, and great aperture mods, and maybe some night imaging would be great. I liked that V-1, but they dont sell it anymore
![]() Could you also reccomend a good photo from other manufactor, in that or even smaller price range. Thanx |

The Sony H-1 is a good performer, but there has been many complaints regarding it EVF (viewing) system. If you could get by with 5X optical zoom there is a whole list of wonderful digital camera that could nicely meet your requirement. Why not take a look at: Olympus C-7000 Olympus C-8080 Pentax 750Z Casio P505 HP R817/R818 Kodak Z700/P880 Olympus C-5500 Sarah Joyce |

And why not look at the Panasonic DMC-FZ20. It is better than all the ones mentioned above, 12x Optical IS zoom, 5MP, great manual mode, and an amazing lens.

I did not mention the Panasonic FZ-20, even though I own one myself because it has such poor low light level performance and noise when used st 200 ISO and above. In daylight it does well. Sarah Joyce |
