I'm looking to buy a camera and my choices are SONY DSC-L1, Nikon Coolpix 4100 and Canon Powershot A85.

For different reasons I prefer the SONY, but without an optical viewfinder I am not sure if I could use it in very bright conditions like snow or sunny beach:?.

Steve's review says that the LCD is a new transreflective technology that works very well in bright outdoor lights, but snow is a very extreme situation and I would like to know if there is someone who has used this camera in such a situation.
