I'd get the Sony. Historically, Samsung p&s cameras have not performed as well as Canon, Fuji, Sony, etc. Have you checked out any reviews?

I recently purchased a Samsung NV-7 OPS and was very disappointed in the camera. Its performance was marginal, even though it specificationslooked quite good.
I agree with flipped gazelle completely. The Samsung NV series is not really that good in overall performance. MT/Sarah |
