i typed like a full page for the message, then when i wanted to submit it, it told me you are not logged in and it deleted everything i typed.
any ways i dont feel like typing everything again from memory. which is better s600 or a430? i need to buy a camera, it must have AA batteries. in steves review, s600 pictures were superior compared to the a430 pictures which were grainy and not sharp. i dont know if he was using a tripod for one of them or did not use one at all check for your self. http://www.eng.utoledo.edu/~mbarakat/a430.jpg http://www.eng.utoledo.edu/~mbarakat/s600.jpg price difference is not an issue. memory stick format sucks but if the s600 is a better camera, then i will live with that. not sure if sony cameras carry only 90 day labor/1 year parts compared to canons 1 year labor/1 year parts for those models. so if any one purchased any of those two cameras, your feedback is appreciated, also if you can post some pictures of each camera that would be great. also if any one knows even a better camera than both of those two in same price range and size, let me konw please, it must use AA batteries. |

musta...-
You have to understand that these are low price, entry level cameras. IMHO I don't think there is enough image quality issues to separate them. What does separate then, once again, IMHO, is that the Sony S-600 has a much wider scale of ISO capability, if you can put up with the added expense and complication of the memory stick. MT |
