I am in the market for an untra compact camera and I have to say making a decision has been overwhelming with all the great offerings in this department!:?
I think I am down to deciding between the Sony Cybershot T5 and the Canon Powershot SD400. Here's what is important to me: - Something that will survive in my pocket (lint-resistant design) - Usable in the widest variety of subject conditions - Fast processor, short Lag - Excellent low light performance, particularly with more distant subjects - Strong yet variable Flash - Big LCD screen - Good movie support I know that this may be expecting too much from an ultra-compact, but it seems like I can get pretty close. I know that by saying the above you are probably thinking that the T5 is the no-brainer choice, but I am concerned about the weaker flash and the slightly slower performance it offers. If the SD400 is not noticeably better in these regards, I probably have made my choice, but please weigh in if you have an opinion. If anyone else has any experience with either of these that would like to weigh in, or feels that I have ignored a better contender for what I am looking for, please chime in! Thanks!!! ![]() |
