Hello,
I'm going to purchase a DSLR camera this year and would love to have an "all purpose" telephoto lense for it. (I hate changing lenses!) I have a Canon Elan 7 with a Tamron 28-200mm lense. I've been told if I use this with a DSLR it will convert to approximately 45-320mm. Are there any wide angle telephoto lenses designed to be used with DSLR's that will not convert the focal length? Thanks very much for your help! MaryRose |

Mary Rose-
Nikon, Tamron, and Sigma all produce 18-200mm lenses. In addition the Canon 28-135mm IS is one of my favorites. Take your choice. MT |
