I am looking to upgrade from my old Nikon Coolpix 3100. Even though it takes (I feel) great pictures, I'd like something "pocketable". So far I have been disappointed in what I have tried. I can't seem to find anything that has the edge-to-edge sharpness of my Coolpix 3100, they've all had soft corners that bug me. Is it just not possible to get an ultra compact that doesn't exhibit soft corners? So far I've tried:
Nikon s200
Olympus FE-230
Canon SD800 IS
Canon SD750
Canon SD1000
