Thinking about buying a dslr

Good point about a blower - while I use the Giotto Rocket Air blower (it's a hand blower, they make several sizes and I think mine is the smallest- fits easily in my bag), I know someone who used a turkey baster for a long time, and really anything that can be used as a hand blower will work.

Transcend claims read speeds up to 45MB/Second and write speeds up to 21.5MB/Second and it's supports UDMA (Ultra DMA), which my latest camera can use. My newest camera (Sony DSLR-A700) is actually capable of around 27MB/Second to an Extreme IV from user tests I've seen. I'll have to test this Transcend to see how it compares. At only $119.99 for a 16GB card (which works out to about $7.50/GB), I can live with slightly slower write speeds. ;-)
