I'm looking for a mid- range digital camera (say 5mp, $300 or so) that will do time lapse (clouds, flowers, etc.), but I want a recordinterval option down to5 sec. or so. Most digital cameras I've seen that have time-lapse have a min. interval of about 30 sec., and that is too coarse for cloud movement. There seems to be an interval imaging function on some cameras, but I'm not sure I see how to get a bunch of individual still images into a time lapse movie after taking them. I can't help but think this is a simple task in a digital environment, but I'm unaware of the solution.
