I'm getting married in Mexico this September, and my old Kodak DX3215 just isn't cutting it anymore The 2 cameras that caught my eye, the first one is the Fuji F10, and the second was the Canon G6. Is the extra cost of the G6 justified? Thanks

To me it is justified. The G6 is what many pros carry when they don't want to carry their big DSLRs with all of the equipment. It takes excellent photos and has great controls. But it won't fit in your pocket like the F10 will.

Digital cameras are great learning tools and it is nice to have all of the good controls available to advance with.

If you always shoot with the LCD in auto and it doesn't give you problems in sunlight you would likely be happy with the F10. It is an excellent camera and the price difference probably isn't justified if you just want something to take snapshots with. And if you would carry the smaller F10 more often you would get more pictures with it.

Ditto on Slipe's comment.

The G6 is one nice P&S but on the bigish side.

Peter.
