I am upgrading from slr eos rebel 7 to digital. Very confused requirements for hobby - proffesional means. Looking at the eos 350 or 20d series Any advice |

If you have no digital experience, I'd suggest either getting a cheap (~US$250 or a bit less) shitpocket sized camera or putting a few rolls of film onto a CD. (It is nice to have a small camera even when you have a much better one.)
The point being to get some digital experience cheaply before spending serious money on equipment. Learn how to edit and print digital photos - when you have done that, you will have a much better idea of what you want, you will be ready to use it, and the prices will have come down. |

It would be helpful to know the kind of photography you do and whether you have a budget in mind.
Also - what lenses & accessories you already have for your film SLR. |
