Thanks for your compliment. I have already looked at the image at 200% and I was amazed how well that it held up under magnification, considering that it was handheld with a shutter speed of 1/400th. With your latest photo, I observed that the key element was again lighting/light direction coupled with background control. It looks great and gave me some more ideas about choosing/controling the background. I also realized that I would be doing myself a bigfavor if I kept a tripod in the car all the time, for those times that I really needed it. Attached is a photo from a series I took after the sun was setting last night. Again it was handheld, when it should have been on a tripod for sure. And I feel that it is probablytoo monochromatic.
