Well I have researched and researched and am getting nowhere. I have a nice little Fuji 5600 which does a great job, but now I also want a more portable little point and shoot to slip into my fishing vest and take the pics of great trout. (Yeah right!)
I need the pics to be of a reasonable quality as I publish the odd article. I am a camera pleb so need it to be easy to use. I want to be able to take good macro shots of tiny flies and bugs, and th eability to survive a bit of water would be good too. I have been trying to decide between the Pentax Optio's and Olympus 740 SW. Sony and Canon seem to have nice lenses though, so I can't seem to know which way to head. Does anybody have any opinions or better ideas for what I want to achieve? One last thing, I am having trouble getting my head around the lack of any type of viewfinder on the above. :?:?:? |
Take a look at the Pentax W-10.

But why the Pentax over the Olympus? How about the W20?

The W-10 has received better professional reviews than the W-20. Olympus has not had a lot of success with waterproof cameras according to the reviews. MT |
Any more opinions on this one?
