I'm looking for my 1st digicam which I wat to take into the mountains while hiking. The features I am looking for in the camera are:

Small point to shoot camera with some options for choosing shuttertime an exposure
4 to 5 Mp
AA batteries

The most important features are weatherproofness, since the camera can be exposed to rain during my hikes. Also very important are the AA bateries since I more often than not will be going to places where I cannot charge the camera, but you can always carry an extra pair of batteries, right?

I came accros two cams that I like: Olympus MJU 400 or 410 (called Stylus Digital 400 or 410 in the US according to this site) and the Pentax Optio WP.

Unfourtunately both have rechargable battery packs, though the man at the store today said that I could by a second battery for about € 27, which is about $27,95 ;-), and which is an option.

Can anyone give advice on a weatherproof, 4 to 5 Mp, AA powered digicam?

Thanx, Eins
