i would like to buy an unexpensive water camera and CyberShot DSC-U60 seems to be perfect...

could you comment it or recommend me a similar one...

it is for taking surfing photos in water... close to surfers...

If you are looking for a camera to take straight out of the box and to the beach, the U60 is the only camera I know of that will work...however, nearly every camera nowadays offers some kind of waterproof case. These usually won`t cost more than 50 dollars, and will allow you to get a camera that is better at taking pictures (I`ve had some experience with Sony U cameras, and they are mainly good for attracting attention, and taking spontaneous pictures...but not much else).

Yeah! I agree with "rg7"! Get a descent digicam then buy their waterproof cases. Taking a picture with a surfer needs a more powerfull digicam like setting Shutter & aperature. The U-60 might give you bad quality.

Example os this is the Canon S1 IS, It has waterproof case. Take alook at it... http://www.canon.co.jp/Imaging/pss1is/package-e.html
