Thanks for the response. Coincidentally, after reading the mixed responses here, I began playing with a few models at a retailer, and found that I, too, liked the A410. So, yesterday, I ordered the A410 from buy.com.
I've had 3 Canons previously (1 film SLR plus a digital P&S and the new Rebel XT Digital SLR) and figure I can't go wrong with it. The A410 seems simple enough to handle without having too many decisions to make before she clicks. Good luck with it and thanks for responding. Barry |
