i Have some experience with analog and digital cams, and for my upcoming trip to china i want to buy a decent digital cam for around $500.

The main problem is that want i watch sample pics of alot of top of the line cams there's some much noise in the pics that it makes me wanna rip my eyes out. Especially in shots with alot of blue sky the noise on alot of cams is really bad.

Heres a pic of something that i find acceptable:

This is a shot of a panasonic Lumix FZ10 wich hasnt recieved to many great reviews over here. And is actually known for its massive noise beyond iso100. But this is a good sample shot of something i find acceptable.

The cam gotta have at least 3 megapixels and 3x optical zoom(more preferably).

So any of you experts have some good advice?

thanks for your time,
