Hello,
Sorry if this is the wrong place for this, mods feel free to move, but I couldnt find a category this fits in. I noticed that my images look quite a bit different on my little 15" Dell LCD then they do from the view finder on my Nikon D50. Was wondering if there was a better affordable model of monitor for photo editing. Thanks. |

You may simply need to calibrate your current system:
http://www.alpenglowimaging.com/monitordisplay.htm http://www.alpenglowimaging.com/monitor-calibration.htm In some cases, the ways in which you can adjust the display may depend more on the video card than the monitor. But you should be able to get reasonably accurate color on most displays wihtou a special monitor. There might be some other issues with LCDs, like viewing angle affecting the color. |
