If you are not in a hurry. It may be judicious to wait a bit. Both Canon and Panasonic will be making announcements this fall about replacement models for their SX-20 and FZ-35 models. Yes, those new models will initially be selling in the 2010 Christmas market for the full retail price or very close to the MSRP. However, those announcements and the subsequent new models will drive down the price on the current SX-20 and FZ-35 models as well. Sarah Joyce |

If you worry about the warranty, get an olympus. As they have a world wide warranty.
If you do not worry about the warranty, the FZ35 is a good choice and the sx20 are good cameras. Also consider the fuji hs10. All these are good long zoom cameras. If low light is a concern the g10 and s90 are good low light cameras.
