I have a Nikon D70s as my camera of choice. I'd like to get a small camera I can carry in my pocket for times when I don't have the Nikon. What I would really like is one that will save in Raw. I know the Olympus SP-350 will but it has a rather limited zoom. Are there other/better choices out there?
Thanks Ron |

rappar, I have the D50 and as my second carry-around digicam I for the Fujifilm F10 as it has the best low-light results at high ISOs of any other P&S. Ofcourse, it sports only a 3X zoom but it's a great easy to use cam by anybody (don't have to know much about controls to really get a bang out of it). I ocasionally use it myself when I don't feel like carrying the D50 w/ lense(s) but my fgolks mainly use it as it is so easy to handle and very pocketable.
You might want to take a look at the F30 as well. Cheers! |

rapper-
I use a Fuji F-30 as my pocket camera/companion to my Nikon D-50 DSLR. It is a really good P&S camera, and I have really enjoyed using it. MT |

Meanstreak-
If you are going to be a fullyeffective Digital Camera Instructor, you have to be very familiar with and regularly use a wide number of current cameras. I figure it is my money and if I enjoy it, and become more effective in the process, why not. MT |
