I'm getting a digital camera for Christmas (finally!!) and my wife and I have pretty much narrowed it down to the 2 Nikons in the subject line. I'm just wondering if it's worth spending the extra money on the 5200. I know it's got a lithium ion battery vs. the NiMH in the 5100 (you'd have to buy rechargeables right?), and a metal case as opposed to plastic. Are these the only differences? I can't seem to find a listing for the 5100 on Steve's site here, and I know they exist because I saw them in Best Buy yesterday!

Also, does the Li-Ion battery have the same sort of cycle as the NiMH? I mean, can it take as many photos as a good set of NiMH's? I assume I'd want to buy a second Li-Ion battery as well as the one that comes with the camera?

Thanks for the help!
