HI to all, this is my first post, and I hope to get some comments and advice from forum members

well its time to buy my First Digital Camera, but with so many to choose from its making my

head spin, I don't really know too much technically about digital cameras , so I can only tell

you what I hope to find ....

1. A Very slim and light weight camera , to slip in my top shirt pocket

2. Minimum 3 X Optical Zoom

3. Minimum 6 Megapixel

4. 2.0 '' or larger LCD screen

5. Anti Shake system

6. USB 2 computer connection

7. Optical view finder ( if possible )

8. Built in flash, and red eye reduction

9. S D card

sorry not to be a bit more technical, so a very slim , light weight digital point and shoot camera

with a good reputation and reviews. ....is there such a camera..?

Thanks ... Mypenry

Welcome,

I can't really help you out but thought it might be better for you to also specify:
your price range, and the intended use for the camera.
Good luck.

You're probably best off choosing between something like the Sony DSC-T10 or the IXUS 800 (Canon SD700). The Sonys have everything but the memory card format you choose (and a new card really isn't that costly now).
The SD30 and SD40 don't have image stabilization, or optical viewfinder, but might be more the size you'd like.
The z-850 also lacks both.
The Lumix FX series really lacks only the viewfinder (and you may want to check out newer models like the FX3 if they're available.)
Finally, the F20 isn't quite as thin, and also lacks the viewfinder and SD card format, but is worth a look as a "best buy".

I say you should go with the Kodak Easyshare V570 or one of their other dual lens cameras, but they dont have optical viewfinders.
