I just ordered the Sanyo Xacti C6 for a good price of €280.

The photo quality might not exactly be as good as the S770's one but the video performance, especially under low-light conditions (parties!!), is much better. The design - well, it's different. But the 285°-twist-able display can be very useful. And the 5x optical zoom, too.

hi puper78,

I hope you're gonna have fun with your xancti c6

As far as I am concerned, I found a new camera again: Sony DSC-T10.

It produces very good photos and also good movies, according to steve's review.

Did u hear anything about this model?

Still hesitating to buy the cam.. tell me sth.about your new cam =)

I read reviews about the T10, T30 and the upcoming T50. Yeah, the camera is really nice and makes good photos, too. The sample videos have not been satisfying for me. The sound could be better and the video seemed to stumble. I might still have some SONY sample videos. If you give me your email I can send them to you.

Yesterday I played a little bit with the new Xacti C6. The menus are little bit better than the C5's but the low-light performance improved a lot. Now I can make movies inside a room with only a little lamp shining. Of course, in that case the movies aren't perfect. But I can see something. :-)
I will check the camera outside this weekend. I can send you sample stuff if you like.
