Yes, the best tcon for it would be the Sony vcl-dh1758, giving you x1.7 which would take the camera to over 730mm equivalent !

To learn a lot about the camera including the best settings to use, details on macro, telephoto etc read the H1 Whitepaper.

jellero-

the Z-710 is not new to the line. In fact Kodak has just posted a price reduction on it along with a free 1gb SD card. Perhaps you are thinking of the P-712 in the Performance line that replaced the P-850 not too long ago.

Marycc-

The Sony H-2 is a very good choice. Be sure to use the link on the Katz Tutorial that was in Sintares' post. The paper was originally written for the Sony H-1, but it applies equally to the H-2 and the H-5 as well. Katz even discisses auxillary lenses and how to use them. It is an excellent tutorial.

Please keep in mind that there is also a lot of Sony experience on the Forum as well. I for one will be quite happy to help out with any problems you might have.

Jellero-

I am sorry but I can not tell you exactly howght old it is. My first thought was to check and see when Steve review the camera. But that did not work because, he has never reviewed it. They must be closing it out because www.kodak.com has reduced the price and is offering a 1gb SD chip with an oder for the csamera.
