Do any of the digital SLRs come with a tilt and twist LCD screen?

Thanks,

I don't believe so. Right now I think there is only one DSLR - the Olympus 330 that allows a 'live preview' on the LCD. All other DSLRs use the LCD only for viewing the image after it is taken - you must use the optical viewfinder to compose your shot - you can't use the LCD.

But, I do not believe the LCD on the 330 tilts/swivels.

Another one is panasonic L1 but I don't think the LCD tilts/twists. And cost is high.

The Olympus and the Panasonic (I believe) do move some away from the back of the camera, but not a full tilt/swivel like some of the Canon point and shoot models.

Check the Olympus website. I'm sure they'll tout it if it does indeed move.

Thanks for these replies. The Olympus E330 may be the answer - it has a live LCD and limited tilt capability. I'll check it out.

Are there no other DSLRs with active LCDs? I didn't realise that. I've only used point & shoot, or SLRs in the old days of film.

Thanks,

BK
